Working Women

On her first day in town, Erin headed out to the Plumbob Pictures Backlot to secure herself a career in Film. Her first job was as a Background Extra. When she headed back home, she ran into the welcome wagon and chatted for a bit.

After dinner, she headed to the a nearby dive bar, Waylon's Haunt.

Over in Twinbrook, Robyn applied for a position in journalism at the High Products Business Building and was given a paper route. Well, one thing that's fun about the Sims is that you really have to work your way up from the very, very bottom.

Having gotten started at the job of her dreams, Robyn headed to the local library. Her house cost her a lot of money (pshaw) so she can't afford even a clunky desktop of her own. She has to make do improving her Writing Skill on the library's computer. And there she sits, hour after hour, clacking away.

Even for a Computer Whiz, typing on a computer is not exactly fun. After a few hours, Robyn was sick of typing, and headed out to a nearby fishing hole. Outdoorsy Sims love to fish, and Robyn was no exception. She caught bupkiss, though.

That night, Robyn had (I'm assuming) pleasant dreams about her crappy little house.

Meanwhile/earlier/tomorrow afternoon, Tara put in her resume at the stadium in alternate-universe Bridgeport. She was well-received, and will start her athletic career as a Rabid Fan. I am still tickled beyond belief that you can get paid to be a fan. I mean, y'know, it's not a ton of money, but still. The Llamas must be really, really bad.

Tara also had her chance to chat up the neighbors.

Tara worked out at home just long enough to get the ability to jog, and then headed to the gym for some serious exercising.

FEEL THE BURN!
