It is well-known that being in a good mood vastly improves your work performance. This is true in Sims, as well as in real life. One of the easiest positive moodlets to get is the Squeaky Clean moodlet. I always make my Sims shower right before work.
Robyn currently has only a grimy-looking bathtub in which to bathe. It takes her FOREVER to get clean in that stupid thing. I can't wait until she can afford a proper shower.
At 7:00am her carpool arrived to drive her to the business office. She sprinted out in her adorable little paper girl outfit to teleport into the appropriately crappy-looking carpool car.
The carpool ride is a long one, especially in the crappy car. They have to drive through the swamp, cross the bridge, and drive all the way through town to get to the newspaper office. It also seems like an especially awkward, silent trip. Neither of them says a word; they don't even look at each other; and when they get to the office the driver doesn't get out to work there. He doesn't look like any of her coworkers, either. WHO IS HE????
Anyway, they got there in the nick of time, and Robyn rushed in, thinking of exercising as she went.
When work was over, Robyn had a wish to go swimming. I sent her to the community pool in her cute little lime green bikini.
She paddled around for a while before noticing some townies nearby. She swam over to challenge one of them to breath-holding contest.

Robyn won...
...and was very pleased with herself.
Her ego took a heavy blow later, though, when she went to the local gym to try her hand at the treadmills. Despite being Athletic, she has no actual athletic skill yet, and so she had to take her turn walking and falling on the treadmill.
Their facial expressions when they fall are so awesome, and I took roughly a million photos trying to capture Robyn's, but I never could. Sorry.
